They say it takes a village to raise a family, but nobody talks about the village it takes to take care of moms once the kids are grown, or we realize we can’t have kids anymore, or we get divorced, or we hit menopause - when the music stops and we’re done taking care of everyone else, we get to a point in our lives when we finally get to take care of ourselves. THAT’S how MY BOSS LADY came to be. I finally decided to launch my own business on my own terms and with a purpose and legacy that I could leave behind for my daughters and granddaughters.                     

Leaving my comfortable 6-figure corporate job during a recession might seem like a risky move, but it was driven by a burning desire for something more. I craved control and fulfillment in a career that was a product of my self-worth and professional accomplishments. Tired of being on someone else's schedule and longing for a fulfilling life, I took a leap of faith and founded MY BOSS LADY, my own consulting company. As a single mom of two teenage daughters, I understood the challenges many women face—balancing work, family, and personal growth.
